Pagan war widows are currently demanding to have their religious iconography included on the tombstones of their war hero husbands.
Members of all other religions have the sacred emblems of their respective religions carved upon their tombstones, i.e., crosses for Christians; Stars of David for those of the Hebrew faith, etc. The icon the Pagans desire to decorate their spouses gravemarkers with is the Pentagram within a circle — a longtime symbol of the ancient faith.
After visiting many a cemetery over the years, it’s always made me wonder why the Pentagram has been overlooked as a symbol of faith. I’m very glad to espouse the cause of these women. For more on the subject visit this link to the Pagan War Widows Story.
