Angelina Jolie’s New Son, Pax Thien Jolie

March 15th, 2007 by Voxx

paxthienjolieAccording to news reports, Angelina Jolie has just formally announced her adoption of a new son, whom Jolie has named Pax Thien Jolie.

Little Pax Thien Jolie, was born in November, 2003. Of course, everybody is familiar with Angelina’s habit of giving her children unusual names, and Pax is no exception.

Pax Thien translates to “Peaceful Sky”, and is a combination of Latin (“Pax”, which means “Peace”) and Vietnamese (“Thien”, which means “Sky”).

I discovered that Pax’s original birth name was Pham Quang Sang, which means “Bright Brilliance”. Either way, these are wonderful names for a very lucky little boy.

I’d like to congratulate Angelina on the newest addition to her growing, international brood. I’m sure Maddox will be happy to have a brother to play soccer with!

Welcome to America Pax!

Okay so she adopted a child. I could say something among the lines of there’s millions of kids who need a home here but I won’t.
I think this is the new trend of the actors and actresses.
I know I’m psychic because in fact I learned about this today (news) but thought about the aspect of some actor/actress doing something like this not too long ago where I’d asked what will happen when their would be parents get tired of them? Wtf? Pathetic.

I think that it is nice that she wats to adopt children from other places. I think she really cares about these kids and is not trying to use them as a trend. Now I do agree that there are plenty of children here in the states who need homes. Celebs are not the only ones adopting kids from other lands. There are some people who come into where I work who have kids from foreign places.
