Le Comte de Lautréamont: In Memoriam

April 4th, 2022 by Voxx

In Memoriam: The Father of Surrealism.

Today, I’m celebrating the birth of my favorite poet, Isidore Lucien Ducasse, more famously known as, Le Comte de Lautréamont. During his life, he completed writing only one complete book, but oh what a book it was!

Entitled “Les Chants de Maldoror”, (The Song of Maldoror) is one of the most mind-boggling, verbal hallucination ever written. If you have never read “Maldoror” (as it is often referred to), I suggest buying a copy today, in his honor. (Just scroll down this page, and you’ll see a link to buy the book from “My Book Club” on the right-side column).

For lovers of great surrealist poetry, take a minute to read a sample of this great artist’s work.

You can also read my special page, dedicated to Le Comte de Lautréamont, complete with an assortment of valuable links.

Let me know your thoughts upon reading this truly important, and startlingly original poet’s work. I’m sure that once you read his story, (and his poetry), you will reserve a special place in your library for the late, great Isidore. ~V~

In Memoriam: Dale Willis (One More Angel)

December 23rd, 2020 by Voxx

876FB4E8-6711-4FF1-9F57-5F81CA574E84One More Angel
(For Dale Willis, Upon His Passing)

There were angels hiding
In the crystal snow
They watched as you went flying
As fast as you could go

They saw as you went gliding
At the speed of light
Though the cold was biting
The Sun shone, oh so bright

58E16890-8F13-4483-93C4-8B828123AD5C

The air was blue and such a sight
As you sailed down, with ease
Brilliant angels, danced in flight
Their feathers stirred the breeze

The sight of glistening feathers
Dazzled eyes of blue
You even wondered whether
They were dancing just for you

So graceful, with their haloes
Of holy golden light
How lovely, the designs they chose
To guide you on your flight

Then angel Raphael, the great
Hovered in the East
Gabriel — his horn of Fate
And Michael — not the least

All along, with Uriel
The Angel of the Earth
Decided to reveal
Your next phase of Eternal Birth

So with wings around you
They lifted up your spirit
Your eyes looked at your soul in view
Your earthly form, not near it

You tried to tell the ones you left
That you must take your leave
And with tears, their hearts bereft
Your loss, on earth, we grieve

We cannot lovely angels blame
Who saw your heart of gold
And gave you wings, and heavn’ly name
Your new life to unfold

Oh, brother of our precious Lord
You leave behind this globe
And none on earth could scarce afford
The glory of your robe

For it is precious silver
Threaded thru with gold
Your soul, we prayed deliver
Straight to heaven’s fold

Where God was there to greet you
In glory, and in joy
He was waiting there to meet you
His faithful, bless’ed boy

One more angel now in heaven
Who’ll guide us through our day
One more precious soul, God-given
Listens as we pray

O, wondrous man of heaven
We bless all that you’ve done
And for the joy you’ve given
A smile for everyone

And yes, Dale we shall miss you
For you are family
God’s loving light shall kiss you
Til’ one day we may see

Your kind face and gentle heart
That followed God’s own plan
For you have lived the perfect part
God’s Righteous, Holy Man.

Birth of the Royal Baby Boy!

July 22nd, 2013 by Voxx

The Royal Baby is being born as I write this (at 2:09am PDT) — of course, the baby has such an amazing horoscope!

Astrology Update: The Royal Baby will have 7 planets in water signs! (If it is born a Moonchild, that is.)

Vision: At 9:06 am PDT, I had a vision of Duchess Kate, in a white tub, giving birth to her water baby! It seemed very real. Kate seems to be going strong, although the baby is tiring her. The baby seems larger than expected. No doubt, Princess Diana is there with her, in spirit, helping her along!

If the baby is born before 7:07 pm (GMT): The Royal Baby will be a Cancer/Moonchild, and will have the Moon at 29 Degrees of Capricorn — very powerful to be sure, as there will still be a Sun/Moon Opposition aspect. This alignment will make the baby tend to have darker hair, and look more like Kate. It will be a very intense baby. Also, if the baby is born before 7:07 pm (GMT), there will be a stronger tendency for the baby to be born a boy!

[Update: Indeed the baby was a boy!]

If the baby is born at/or after 7:07 pm (GMT): The Royal Baby will be a Leo, born right at the Full Moon in Aquarius! What an amazing configuration of stars. Truly blessed. (Of course, I was hoping for a Princess). This aspect will tend to have the baby look more like its father, Prince William.

Reincarnation of a King: I have a feeling that the Royal Baby is the reincarnation of a ruler from the Renaissance, and has come back to guide England into the Titanium Age. It would be wonderful if the baby should be a boy, and a reincarnation of Sir John Dee, the famous Astrologer from the royal court of Queen Elizabeth the First.

Congratulations to Prince William, and Duchess Kate!

[Note: I am the first Psychic Astrologer to write about these Astrological aspects of the Royal Baby — still, God is in charge, and I can only share what I’ve picked up psychically.]

Names for a Prince: Alexander, Albert, William, Philip, Louis, Francis (and a special name added as well.)

Farrah Fawcett: Love Story 2009

June 27th, 2009 by Voxx

farrah-ryan-lovestoryc2a9voxx1

Farrah Fawcett died Thursday, June 25th, 2009.  Her impending death from cancer was expected, but still brought an outpouring of sadness at her passing. What came as a greater surprise to most of us, is the largely unexpected death of Michael Jackson, on the same day, no less!  (Although Astrologers, Psychics and those in the know, had expected a tragic ending for poor MJ).

That being said, I’ve thought about the irony of Ryan O’Neal’s part in Farrah’s life. As many people remember, Ryan played the role of “Ollie”, in the film “Love Story”, which was about a young man who loses his wife to cancer, shortly after their marriage. It was this idea that led me to create the image accompanying this post.

Although Farrah and Ryan never legally married one another, they had a long-lasting relationship, and one son together, the troubled Redmond.

Farrah had a checkered career, becoming more respected as an actress in the latter part of her career; However, her greatest fame came within the last three years of her life, as she battled a vicious form of cancer.  During her illness, Farrah documented her life on film, culminating in a fascinating, yet heartbreaking, testimony of her struggle in the face of death.

Again, there is irony in the fact that Farrah came to prominence in the role of an “Angel”, on the hit show, “Charlie’s Angels”, thus we have always known her as an angel.  Now, I have every reason to believe she has turned into a real one.  Thanks Farrah for your final role as a teacher, and guide — walking us through the Valley of the Shadow of Death, with grace and dignity. You will be missed.

LVX,

Voxx
