Angelina Jolie: The Golden Twins Are Born!

July 13th, 2008 by Voxx

Saint Angelina Jolie and her godly Pangenitor, Brad Pitt have finally brought forth their Golden Twins (a boy and a girl) into the world! The boy is named Knox Leon and the girl is named Vivienne Marcheline … lovely names.

The twins were born around 10:00 pm, in Nice, France at a local hospital. I have posted their Astrology charts (based upon their approximate birth times) View the Golden Twins Astrocharts here. What I can tell you already is that these lucky babes were born with a remarkable Grand Water Trine (18-20 Degrees of Uranus in Pisces, Moon in Scorpio and the Sun in Cancer. Simply put — wow! They will want for nothing in their lives.

Needless to say, two children have never been born with as much potential for beauty, fame and wealth since the days of ancient Egypt. Before their birth, the twins were even officially recognized by the French Government as honorable citizens of Nice, France where they were born.

For now, I’d like to send love, health and continued blessings to Angelina, Brad and their entire family.

Midsummer’s Nite

June 24th, 2008 by Voxx

I’m actually writing this on June 23rd — waiting to set out the silver bowl to collect the morning dew of Saint John’s Eve (Midsummer’s Eve).  I use the dew to concoct some very magickal potions and brews for the rest of the year.  It definitely works.  I’ll add a bit about Midsummer Legends to this post, when I can on an on-going basis.

Mercury Retrograde in Aquarius

January 28th, 2008 by Voxx

sword 06Ruh-Roh, Mercuwy Wetwogwade!

Here we go again … the planet Mercury will go Retrograde at 12:31 PM (PST) in the sign of Aquarius at 23:49 degrees on Monday, January 28th, 2008.

This is the first Mercury Retrograde to happen since Pluto entered Capricorn the other day. Suffice it to say that all things related to both Mercury and Aquarius will be highlighted at this particular time.

Mercury (as the ruler of Gemini) rules the ideas of Communication, Travel, Business, Internet, and Siblings. As the Ruler of Virgo, Mercury rules the idea of Schools, Health, and Social Services. As a result, we can expect all sorts of mishaps and things to go wrong with documents, letters, communications, travel, hospitals, school problems — you name it. As Mercury will be retrograde in the sign of Aquarius, situations regarding Frienships, Social Groups, and the Internet and such will also be seriously (and most likely negatively) affected. Deal with it.

Predictions: Expect power outages, sudden freak weather as well. Shock and surprise is the name of the game when Aquarian energy runs amok — just ask famous Aquarian Paris Hilton — who will no doubt be in trubs again during this negative aspect.

I have no doubt I’ll be very busy doing lots of Psychic Readings during this annoying aspect as people from all over the world come to straighten out the various messes which will be crop up during the next few weeks.

End in Sight: So, how long will Mercury be retrograde, you’d like to know. Well, let’s put it this way — long enough to screw up your Valentine’s Day. Yep. Expect lots of breakups and shocking headlines in the next few weeks because Mercury won’t go direct until February 18th at 6:57 PM (PST).

Still, just don’t just sit and mope … plan your life accordingly with as much patience and insight as you can. Things will go wrong, stuff will get lost, you will want to hurt somebody with a lawn ornament — all this and more, but at least you’ve got me to warn you about it ahead of time. Remember, this too shall pass.

In the meantime, I’m posting some helpful links about Mercury Retrograde in Aquarius for all of you to check out. Please feel free to write me and join the Magickal Forum and let us all know what comes up and how you deal with this challenging Astrological time. Take care!

Requiescat in Pace: Heath Ledger

January 26th, 2008 by Voxx

HeathLedger“Unto them from whose eyes the veil of life hath fallen may there be granted the accomplishment of their true Wills; whether they will absorption in the Infinite, or to be united with their chosen and preferred, or to be in contemplation, or to be at peace, or to achieve the labour and heroism of incarnation on this planet or another, or in any Star, or aught else, unto them may there be granted the accomplishment of their wills; yea, the accomplishment of their wills. AUMGN. AUMGN. AUMGN.” (Excerpt from Liber XV, by Aleister Crowley).

Rest in Peace Heathcliff. You will be missed. Pluto in Sagittarius takes its last bright star, and hangs it high in the nighttime sky.

Pluto Enters Capricorn

January 26th, 2008 by Voxx

s devil 1Finally … something to write about! I’ve been waiting for this day for quite awhile and it’s here. Pluto will move into the Sign of Capricorn at 6:37 pm PST! The importance of this planetary movement is literally historic, and quite momentous.

Pluto has been in the sign of Sagittarius since November 11th, 1995. Chances are you remember exactly where you were, who you were with and what you were doing when Pluto switched signs — I know exactly what I was doing, that’s for sure. (Insert deep, private thoughts here.)

Whatever transformations you will experience depends on a few things:

1) The placement of Pluto in your Natal Astrological Chart and how this transit will aspect it; and

2) The placement of Saturn in your Natal Astrological Chart and how this transit will aspect it;

Pluto is considered the Planetary Ruler of the sign of Scorpio, itself the Zodiac Sign of Transformation, the Occult, Legacies, Sex and Death.

Capricorn is ruled by the planet Saturn, which is the planet which rules Career, Recognition, Restriction, Karma and — you guessed it — Death.

What happens when the planet of intense transformation enters the rather harsh sign of Capricorn? Nothing less than a revolution. A physical, economic, spiritual and psychic meltdown of epic proportions.

Not to mention the fact that the end of the Mayan Calendar (December 21st, 2012) happens to occur during this particular placement. Coincidence perhaps? Yeah, right. Still, it’s not all bad news you know. Especially if you happen to have Capricorn Rising (or anticipate positive aspects as the result of this placement).

Still, it’s going to be time to wake up and smell the cat food, as it were. I’ll post more about this historical bit of Astrological news in my Magickal Forum under the Astrology Section as soon as possible.

In the meantime, take some time to light a Candle (Indigo Blue, Black or Dark Red) and meditate on how you can get the most out of this intense time.

Back From Beyond

January 14th, 2008 by Voxx

4thPentacleofVenus VoxxWell, I’m back! After a bit of an absence from the Internet, I’ve returned from my seasonal travels. I hope you all missed me a bit.

Anyway, I have a few Special Guests rounded up for some new Psychic Podcasts, so I hope you’ll all come back and join the Magickal Forum as well (which has been reset up to avoid contact by the denizens of the accursed land of Spamalot).

I’ll be posting a bit about my recent trip to New York City, plus some pix too. 93 Skidoo.

The Greater Feast of the Beast

December 2nd, 2007 by Voxx

s_univ.jpgToday is the 60th Anniversary of the death of the avatar of Western Magick, Edward Alexander Crowley (more famously known as Aleister Crowley).

As a Thelemite, I always observe the Holy Days of Thelema, and earlier today remembered to meditate on the special energy of this day; however, at 11:34 pm (PST) the remembrance hit me full force. I felt his spirit must have left close to this time all those years ago.

Crowley, wherever you are . . . say hi to David for me.

Isidore Lucien Ducasse: Memento Mori Maldoror

November 25th, 2007 by Voxx

maldororthegreat.gifI observe the 24th day of November as a personal day of remembrance in honor of Isidore Lucien Ducasse. He was a great poet of the 1800’s, considered by the artist/poet, Andre Breton to be the true father of Surrealism.

On this day, in the year 1870, Isidore died at the age of 24, under the usual Mysterious Circumstances, almost a necessary element of any true poet’s legend.

Do yourself a favor and go quietly insane after reading 3 sentences from any chapter of Ducasse’s masterpiece, “Les Chants de Maldoror” (“The Songs of Maldoror”).  It’s one of the few books I offer directly through my site, so you can click on the previous link, or scroll down the right-side of this page, and click to get your own copy.  I’ve had mine for many years.

Maldoror was written under Ducasse’s nomme de guerre, “Le Comte de Lautreamont”.

Read more about my friend Isidore by visiting the following links. Unjoy.

Aleister Crowley and the Golden Dawn

November 19th, 2007 by Voxx

acfamous.gifToday marks the 109th anniversary of Aleister Crowley’s initiation into the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn (G.’.D.’.), which he joined on November 18th, 1875, receiving his Neophyte Degree (0=0). It was upon that occasion Crowley took his legendary Latin motto, “Perdurabo” (“I will endure unto the end”).

Crowley’s introduction to the magickal order was through George Cecil Jones, a gentleman whom he met after he had left Cambridge University. Jones further introduced Crowley to Samuel Liddell MacGregor Mathers (S.L.M. Mathers) who invited him to join the G.’.D.’.

Frater Perdurabo (as he was known in the group) rose rapidly up the ranks of the Order, and by the year 1900, Crowley had achieved the grade of Adeptus Minor, no small magickal feat.

In that same year, a huge schism took place within the Order that left it in ruins, with Crowley severing ties with the group altogether.

Still, today is a day to remember as Crowley’s first real step upon the road of Magick, without which (in my opinion), Western Occultism would most likely not exist as it does. Certainly, the art of metaphysics and the occult have been forever changed by the force that was Crowley.
