The Full Moon in Virgo will occur at 3:17:44 am EST, S aturday. (12:17:44 am PST). It is also known as the “Worm Moon”, as well as the “Snow Moon”, and the Native Americans called it, the “Hunger Moon”, as food was scarce at this time of year. We can definitely see it has been a “Snow Moon”, this year.

In the sign of Virgo, (6th Sign of the Zodiac), our attention is drawn to issues that are ruled by that Zodiacal House, namely — Health and Education (particularly elementary school). With the continuing pandemic, both those subjects are tightly-bound.

The Full Moon will happen at 8º Virgo, thus it will most effect those with any planets in Virgo most strongly. Here is a list of the signs and degrees which will be most effected:

Virgo, from 5º to 11º (Moon Conjunction)
Pisces, from 5º to 11º (Moon Opposition)
Gemini, from 5º to 11º (Moon Square)
Sagittarius, from 5º to 11º (Moon square)

The famed Astrologer, Isidore Kozminsky, wrote in his important book on Sabian Symbols, entitled, “360 Zodiac Symbols”, explained this degree of Virgo:

Denotes one of forceful and aggressive mind who presses onwards with energy and determination. His assertiveness will not easily be opposed, and in all his dealings with others he demands the answer to be “Yes” or “No,” for to his mind there is no middle course. He will draw to himself great responsibilities and will ever be involved in argument and dispute. It is a symbol of Assertion.

The effects of this particular Full Moon will have everyone going over plans, multiple times. Fine-tuning is the word, and not only that — there will be much fault-finding, arguing, fussing, and agitation. Food allergies, and/or food recalls will be in the news, as well as the heightened need for sterilization. Problems with schools (shootings), and explosions in health facilities and chemical plants are more likely as well. No matter what, pay attention to your health and your living routine. Time to get things in order.

The New Moon will occur soon in Capricorn at 23º.

Denotes a far-seeing person with a fine appreciation of poetry and the arts and a well-endowed mind capable of delving deeply into obscure subjects. Should Mercury be afflicted in the horoscope, especially by Saturn, the native will incline to exercise his powers in a wrong direction and to seek to restrain to his advantage the rights of others. It is a symbol of Sagacity.

As the Moon starts its new lunar phase in Capricorn at 23º, issues regarding government, politics and land will take up all the headlines. I always consider the Moon to be an astrological “trigger”, that will set off the following Lunar Month. In this case, the New Moon will conjunct the powerful planet Pluto, with explosive effects.

From this date, all the way to December 28, 2022 — the USA will be in a state of outright Revolution, when Pluto reaches 27º53”, when it hits the exact degree that it was at, upon the signing of the Declaration of Independence. At that time, Pluto will go Retrograde until October 31, 2023, and finally move into Aquarius on November 20th, 2024.

There were angels hiding
In the crystal snow
They watched as you went flying
As fast as you could go

They saw as you went gliding
At the speed of light
Though the cold was biting
The Sun shone, oh so bright

The air was blue and such a sight
As you sailed down, with ease
Brilliant angels, danced in flight
Their feathers stirred the breeze

The sight of glistening feathers
Dazzled eyes of blue
You even wondered whether
They were dancing just for you

So graceful, with their haloes
Of holy golden light
How lovely, the designs they chose
To guide you on your flight

Then angel Raphael, the great
Hovered in the East
Gabriel — his horn of Fate
And Michael — not the least

All along, with Uriel
The Angel of the Earth
Decided to reveal
Your next phase of Eternal Birth

So with wings around you
They lifted up your spirit

WWII Hero and POW, Kyle Taylor Shubert celebrates his 98th birthday today. He saved an entire POW camp full of Japanese prisoners, from certain death at only 23 years old, in August, 1945. I have the honor of calling him my father and friend. Our new book, about his experience as a POW, will be released soon. Many happy returns to the greatest man I know. Love, and Blessings, ~V~
