Today’s Full Moon will happen in the sign of Sagittarius. Also, known as the “Strawberry Moon”, this full moon also happens to be an Eclipse. With the recent pandemic and activism (turning into riots), our emotions have grown intense, and raw.

The Sagittarius moon relates to 9th House issues, such as Spiritualism, Philanthropy, and Foreign Affairs. All over the world, peoples’ eyes are opening (after all, it is 2020). We are faced with the world as it is, and the world’s a huge mess at the moment. Time to roll up our sleeves and get to work, fixing it.

As Sagittarius is a Fire Sign, don’t be surprised to hear news of more fires and explosions. Sagittarius is all about freedom and travel as well. But, the planet Saturn is putting a stop to any fun for the moment. With the world at a virtual standstill, this is the time to find out how to use your life to make a difference.

The planets are always giving us challenges — they aren’t “good” or “bad”. We are getting one last chance to straighten out the terrible injustices that people have suffered for hundreds of years. It’s a process, and there’s no getting out of our responsibilities to grow as humans — supposedly, “sentient beings”.

So, never mind what you read about this lunation. Yes, there are going to be more bits of bad news, but we have to forge ahead. It is time to grow. That’s why they’re called, “growing pains”, not “growing pleasures.” It hurts. Everybody hurts. Now, it’s time to start healing.

Get a light blue, lavender candle (Jupiter loves blue). It can be a small tea candle. Anoint it with a few drops of Lavender Oil for calming, or Rose oil for picking up your spirits.

When lighting the candle, ask your spirit guide or angel to help you release your worries and tensions. Then, focus on your breathing as you gently focus on the flame.

This is best to do before sleep. Make sure you safely extinguish the candle when you are done.

Today, April, 4th, 2020 (Saturday), holds a special numerological and astrological significance.

Many spiritual practitioners and healers will be tapping into this extraordinary day, with major “4” energies. At 7:45pm PDT, the planet Jupiter will be conjuncting Pluto at 24 Degrees in the sign of Capricorn. (See the accompanying post regarding the Jupiter/Pluto Conjunction, after this one.)

The date will be the 4th day of the 4th month, in a year whose numbers added together, also equal 4. Technically, 4-4-2020, equals 12, a number of perfection (3×4).

In the mystical Qabalah, the number 4 is associated with the planet Jupiter, whose ruler is the King of the Gods. Jupiter is also the sphere known as “Chesed”, or “Mercy”, on the Pillar of Mildness on the Tree of Life. Jupiter is also associated with the letter, “K”, (“Kaph” in Hebrew, which means, “Palm of the hand”).

Jupiter, is also known as the Lord of Transformation and Healing, and thus, with all the various magickal associations of Jupiter and his ruling number, it is a perfect time to enter into meditation upon this powerful number. With the world in a state of great suffering and imbalance, the number 4 can lend a sense of stability and security to those whose lives are in chaos right now.

In Egyptian magick, the number “444” is associated with the Phoenix of Rebirth. On this special day, we seek to align ourselves with the force of healing, with the magickal bird of resurrection as a focus.

Meditation Ideas: To join all of us as we enter into this sacred vibration of healing for the world, you may wish to prepare yourself by taking a ritual bath with lavender, and put on blue clothing — the colour associated with Jupiter. At this time, it would be a great idea to go onto YouTube, and find a recording of the Solfeggio tone, “528”, a sound associated with healing and miracles. You can also listen to the sounds associated with the planet Jupiter, which are found on the NASA channel. You may also wish to gaze upon the Tarot cards associated with Jupiter, “The Wheel of Fortune”, and “Temperance”.

You will want to get into your sacred space at 6:45pm PDT, so you can take advantage of the full force of the accompanying Astrological energy as well. The exact aspect happens at 7:45pm PDT, and during that time until 30 minutes afterward, you will be able to direct your energies toward healing yourself, and the world of terrible COVID-19 Virus, which is creating so much suffering around the world.

Let us join together on this special day, in love and unity, and tune into the regenerating frequency of Jupiter. May we all experience the Mercy associated with the Jupiterian frequency of positive transformation, and the miracle of healing. Blessed Be.

Great Tidings to you all upon this wondrous Midsummer’s Eve … which, by now is Midsummer’s Day.

It’s the night when the Queen of the Faeries — Mab, opens the door of Magick, between our world and her own.

I have always lived a life full of visions, music and magick since childhood. I prayed to the Sun and Moon, and spoke to the ocean tides, in love with Nature. Magick was always real to me, and continues to be.

I learned of Queen Mab as a child, and have been paying homage to her for many years, receiving great blessings over time.

Mab loves flowers, candy, glass beads and all kinds of sweet treats and trinkets. There are traditions of offering her these items, including the burning of summer incense and blue and white candles in her honor.

At midnite on June 23rd, (tonite), I did my yearly ritual to Queen Mab, and wrote her quite a lengthy poem, which I could tell delighted her. (I will publish it soon.)

In Mab’s honor, and to tune into her mystical presence, I made a special Midsummer’s Eve Faery Queen Oil, a combination of Frankincense, Pine, Rosemary and other summery scents, careful to use a magickal number of drops for each. (Contact me for the recipe).

After consecrating my altar and all the items, I conjured forth the denizens of the Faery Realm; The Sylphs of the East, the Salamanders of the South, the Undines of the West, and the Gnomes of the North, offering them sweets and other delights.

I anointed my candles with the Faery oil, and poured out spring water into a silver bowl, filled with magickal stones. Of course, no offering to Mab would be complete without adding some delicate flowers, including a rose wreath. Then, I burned a scroll filled with written wishes inside my cauldron, and afterward scattered the ashes to the four winds.

As the incense wafted thru the warm nite air, I scryed into my magick mirror, placed within a silver bowl filled with the blessed spring water. What visions, I may not tell — but, all good Faery Scryers receive personal mystical messages

In my vision, Queen Mab rode toward me from an astral vortex, in her magnificent Faery carriage, (drawn by 4 white horses) and swooped up my offerings, laughing wildly — as she loves to do.

Queen Mab speaks to me clairaudiently with the most lovely voice, and tells me secrets regarding Nature. She always brings inspiration and joy.

Faery folk herald Mab’s arrival filling the air with music from other worlds, which is ethereal and haunting — unlike any other sound I’ve ever heard. They play their flower trumpets, singing her praises in their tiny, gleeful voices, as they lead her procession into our world.

Queen Mab, and her Faeries will celebrate with us for a day of joy and glee, enchanting us all with their presence, if we but take the time to listen. May you all hear the song. ~V~

Today, Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at 5:08 pm PDT, marks the exact time of the 57th Anniversary of Jack Parsons‘ tragic death.  Parsons, (born, Marvel Whiteside Parsons, and also known as John), was a brilliant scientist who was one of the main founders of Jet Propulsion Laboratory (affectionately known as “Jack Parsons Laboratories, by Parsons fans).

Jack was the inventor of solid rocket fuel, which was the single most important contribution to the Moon missions, for without Jack’s contribution, there never would have been a man on the moon (at least not within the time frame, it was achieved). For his contributions to the field of space exploration, Jack was given the honor of having not one, but two craters on the moon, named for him (albeit, both are on the dark side of the moon … amazingly appropriate.) Despite enough intelligence to have garnered him lasting fame for his contributions in the field of science and chemistry, it was Parsons’ secondary interest and practice of the Magick of Aleister Crowley, that has since overshadowed his more worldly legacy.

In 1939, at the young age of 26, Parsons was introduced, by Wilfrid T. Smith, to the magickal philosophy of Aleister Crowley, the head of the organization known as, the Ordo Templi Orientis.

Parsons life took a strange turn when he undertook a ritual he named, “The Babalon Working“, wherein he performed an intense Enochian Ritual, specifically designed to manifest an earthly incarnation of the Thelemic primal goddess, “Babalon.”

Much has been written about this extraordinary ritual, and its shocking, seemingly tragic outcome, in the form of two books, “Sex and Rockets“, and “Strange Angel“. (Purchase these books, via links listed below).

I have created several Astrological Charts regarding the highlights of Parsons’ fascinating life, which are available upon request, to serious Magicians, and those interested in the Jack’s magickal career.
