Angelina Jolie: The Golden Twins Are Born!

July 13th, 2008 by Voxx

Saint Angelina Jolie and her godly Pangenitor, Brad Pitt have finally brought forth their Golden Twins (a boy and a girl) into the world! The boy is named Knox Leon and the girl is named Vivienne Marcheline … lovely names.

The twins were born around 10:00 pm, in Nice, France at a local hospital. I have posted their Astrology charts (based upon their approximate birth times) View the Golden Twins Astrocharts here. What I can tell you already is that these lucky babes were born with a remarkable Grand Water Trine (18-20 Degrees of Uranus in Pisces, Moon in Scorpio and the Sun in Cancer. Simply put — wow! They will want for nothing in their lives.

Needless to say, two children have never been born with as much potential for beauty, fame and wealth since the days of ancient Egypt. Before their birth, the twins were even officially recognized by the French Government as honorable citizens of Nice, France where they were born.

For now, I’d like to send love, health and continued blessings to Angelina, Brad and their entire family.

Isidore Lucien Ducasse: Memento Mori Maldoror

November 25th, 2007 by Voxx

maldororthegreat.gifI observe the 24th day of November as a personal day of remembrance in honor of Isidore Lucien Ducasse. He was a great poet of the 1800’s, considered by the artist/poet, Andre Breton to be the true father of Surrealism.

On this day, in the year 1870, Isidore died at the age of 24, under the usual Mysterious Circumstances, almost a necessary element of any true poet’s legend.

Do yourself a favor and go quietly insane after reading 3 sentences from any chapter of Ducasse’s masterpiece, “Les Chants de Maldoror” (“The Songs of Maldoror”).  It’s one of the few books I offer directly through my site, so you can click on the previous link, or scroll down the right-side of this page, and click to get your own copy.  I’ve had mine for many years.

Maldoror was written under Ducasse’s nomme de guerre, “Le Comte de Lautreamont”.

Read more about my friend Isidore by visiting the following links. Unjoy.

Happy Birthday Aleister Crowley

October 13th, 2007 by Voxx

crowley-bday.jpg
.’.93.’.

It seems that some of my greatest inspirations were born under the astrological sign of Libra. John Lennon is a musical hero, and Aleister Crowley is a magickal one.

I have to say that the writings and teachings of Crowley (aka The Master Therion), have been the most influential, especially considering my entire life has been dedicated to the learning and practice of the art of Magick.

Today, I’d like to pay my respects to Crowley on his 132nd birthday. His influence in the world continues to be felt through his Proclamation of the Law of Thelema, which ushered in the 93rd Current in the form of the Aeon of Horus, the Crowned and Conquering Child.

To learn more about Crowley’s ideas and magickal philosophies, please read The Book of the Law, or feel free to write me for more links and info.Albeit, Crowley (as a mere human) had his flaws and foibles, but as a Magician he had no equal, although there are those who might argue the point.

To learn more about Crowley, the Man and Magus, I hope you’ll spend a minute to read a bit about him at the Voxx Magickal Forum, and see for yourself.

Crowley, wherever you are … thank you for all the magickal gifts you’ve helped me to discover and use to manifest my True Will. I can honestly say, that the use of High Magick has enabled me to attract the health, wealth, knowledge and love that is every human’s birthright.

If you’d like to learn more about The Art and Practice of High Magick, feel free to contact me or check my list of available classes.

In the meantime, below are some additional links I feel might be useful for those of you who have yet to discover this incredible man for yourself. I suggest you read Crowley’s writings for yourself, and to make it easy for you, just go to the right side of this page, and scroll down a bit until you see my Magickal Library picks on the right-hand side. I’ve set up direct links so you can order Crowley’s books easily.

If you’d like to celebrate the birth of the Magus, light a candle at 11:30 pm (PDT), I know I will.

Feast of the Beast & His Bride

August 13th, 2007 by Voxx

crowleyfamily.jpgToday is one of the Holy Days of Thelema, celebrating the wedding of Aleister Crowley and his first wife, Rose Edith Kelly. The couple were married on August 12th, 1903 at 8:00 am (GMT) in Dingwall, Scotland in a civil ceremony.

The union of Aleister and Rose proved passionate and fruitful, both personally and magickally for a short time before tragedy struck the couple in the guise of the loss of their children. They eventually divorced due to Rose’s struggle with dipsomania and other problems.

Despite the eventual ruin of Aleister and Rose’s relationship, Thelemites honor this date as one of great importance. It was Rose (in her role as Ouarda the Seer), who was the catalyst to a series of events which lead to the writing of The Book of the Law, the primary source of Thelemic philosophy.

After studying the Astrology Charts of both Crowley, Rose and their wedding, I can see how and why these two extraordinary people came together, and what drew them apart as well. (I’ll be posting these charts later in the Astrology Section of my Magickal Forum, so feel free to check them out.)

Until then, Happy 104th Anniversary Aleister and Rose!
