New Moon in Capricorn PDF – Astro Chart and Aspects!

The New Moon in Capricorn at 28 Degrees will happen tonight at 8:08 pm, PST (11:08 pm, EST).

The Meaning of The New Moon: The New Moon is the beginning of the Waxing (growing) phase of the moon. This phase is best for starting projects, and attracting energy toward manifesting your desires for the next 14 days — that is, until the next Full Moon phase, which represents the next cycle of completion. Meaning of the New Moon in Capricorn: The New Moon in Capricorn is one of the best for setting goals, initiating projects, and making a serious commitment toward manifesting your long-range plans.

Capricorn is ruled by the planet Saturn, and both sign and planet are associated with the ideas of restriction, and discipline — both necessary in order to accomplish the greater things in life.

Right now, Mars (the planet of action) is also in the sign of Capricorn, lending a kick-ass energy which enables us to actually fulfill our New Year’s resolutions! While Capricorn is the starting point for this new lunar phase, the energy will build, adding a positive sense of forward movement to all you attempt.

Procrastinate tomorrow! (lol) Right now, it’s time to get yourself in gear and start moving forward for once. Just because this energy is so powerful and positive, there’s a likelihood that you’ll expect results quickly — but, don’t get exasperated when this doesn’t happen. Just because you’re finally taking your life seriously doesn’t mean that everything can be magickally sorted out overnight. Have patience. That’s the ultimate Capricornian phrase. Chill out for heaven’s sake!

Planetary Aspects: Uranus and Jupiter make an uneasy 45-degree semisquare to the Sun-Moon conjunction. Meaning of this aspect suggests that plans can be disrupted at the last minute, so make sure to have a backup plan. In order to keep things going smoothly, it’s best to adapt to the situation, rather than give up entirely. You can still achieve your goals, but maybe just not as quickly as you had originally hoped. Balanced communication is necessary to keep pressure from building up. Roll with the punches, and don’t take things too personally at this time.

Global Effects of the New Moon in Capricorn: The Lunar/Saturn influence will no doubt be tough on weather patterns, and make us start paying attention to the damage we’re doing to the planet — not as punishment, but to guide us toward changing our patterns of planetary abuse.

Robert Anton Wilson: Prometheus Rising, 2007

January 12th, 2007 by Voxx

rawbabalon 1“Nothing is true. All is permitted.” _ Hasan i Sabbah

Robert Anton Wilson left his earthly vehicle for a late-model astral body, leaving the chaotic shores of Gaia for possibly the last time at 4:50 am (PST), on Thursday, January 11, 2007, with the Moon at 29 Degrees Libra.

According to a news source, Robert had been in ill health for the past several years. He suffered from the effects of post-polio syndrome which had severely damaged his legs and weakened his body. After a serious fall in June 2006, Robert was unable to walk, and confined to bed. Many of his closest family, friends and fans rallied around the author during his last several months to support him emotionally and even financially, for which Wilson was truly grateful.

Wilson, or RAW as he was popularly known, was a prolific author, penning a wide range of fascinating work during his long, and eventful life. Among his works left behind, are novels and essays.

In addition to being a celebrated author, he was also a philosopher, psychologist, futurist, anarchist, and conspiracy theorist.

bobcrowleyA small selection of Wilson’s best-known works include such popular books as:

  • The Illuminatus! Trilogy (1975) including the following:
  • (The Eye in the Pyramid)
  • (The Golden Apple)
  • (Leviathan)
  • The Cosmic Trigger I: Final Secret of the Illuminati (1977)
  • Schrodinger’s Cat (Trilogy, 1980-1981)
  • Masks of the Illuminati (1981)
  • The Historical Illuminatus Chronicles (1982-1991)
  • Prometheus Rising (1983, revised 1987), and
  • Quantum Psychology (1990)

He was also friends with the late Timothy Leary, with whom he collaborated on two books, Neuropolitics and The Game of Life.

I had the personal good fortune to meet Robert several times over the last several years. Here I go, taking an acid trip down memory lane …

Marilyn Manson: A Marriage Made in Hell

January 7th, 2007 by Voxx

marilynandditaAccording to a current news story, Dita Von Teese, the wife of cosmetically-challenged shock-rock musician, Marilyn Manson, has filed for a divorce from her Satanic spouse.

Although there are many who believe Manson will be shocked by Dita’s divorce filing, I’m sure he’s known about it much earlier — no doubt through his use of the Marilyn Manson Tarot deck.

Dita told friends that she couldn’t get in touch with him, and he wouldn’t even make an effort to communicate with her. To get his attention she decided to slap him with divorce papers while he was busy recording tracks for his latest album, hoping he would finally notice her. Of course, if she had really wanted to talk to him, all she had to do was use a Ouija Board, silly girl!

Anyway, Manson was reportedly served with legal papers on January 5th, (his 38th birthday), although rumor has it that Dita filed them closer to Christmas, yet another reason for Manson to be pissed off at Jesus! LOL (Call me old-fashioned, but methinks after marrying a Pagan like MM, it would have made more sense to file the papers on the Winter Solstice!)

Happy Winter Solstice 2006

December 22nd, 2006 by Voxx

disks 01
.’.93.’.

I want to wish you all a wonderful Winter Solstice 2006! Today is the shortest day of the year — beginning the 22nd, the light of the Sun will shine brighter until it reaches the Summer Solstice, on June 21st, 2007. May you have a blessed, healthy, happy and prosperous New Solar Year.

The Pagan History of Christmas: The Winter Solstice is a time of great power, and has been celebrated since ancient times among many cultures throughout the world. The holiday we now call “Christmas” actually had its beginnings in the Cult of Mithras, the Sun God of the Persians, although it is believed that the origin of Mithras occurred in India around 1400 BC.

One legend of the birth of Mithras states that he sprang from the living rock or from a tree. Another tradition explains that he was born from the Cosmic Egg, while holding in his upraised hands the Sword of Truth and Torch of Light — sounds a bit like descriptions of the biblical Jesus, doesn’t it?

There are ancient artifacts depicting him surrounded by an egg-shaped frame, symbolizing the cosmic 12 Signs of the Zodiac. Many of those representations of Mithras have been found in modern-day Britain, some of which are considered to be some of the earliest surviving representation of the Signs of the Zodiac in the north-west provinces of the Roman Empire.

Pagan War Widows Demand Justice

November 14th, 2006 by Voxx

Pagan war widows are currently demanding to have their religious iconography included on the tombstones of their war hero husbands.

Members of all other religions have the sacred emblems of their respective religions carved upon their tombstones, i.e., crosses for Christians; Stars of David for those of the Hebrew faith, etc. The icon the Pagans desire to decorate their spouses gravemarkers with is the Pentagram within a circle — a longtime symbol of the ancient faith.

After visiting many a cemetery over the years, it’s always made me wonder why the Pentagram has been overlooked as a symbol of faith. I’m very glad to espouse the cause of these women. For more on the subject visit this link to the Pagan War Widows Story.
